Nashville, TN; April 14, 2026: Doing Good is proud to celebrate April as National Volunteer Month. Doing Good, a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in the Volunteer State of Tennessee, celebrates volunteers by providing nonprofits with marketing and PR tools and opportunities.
“Volunteers are the heart of nonprofit organizations,” said Megan McInnis, Executive Director of Doing Good. “Their passion is so important. Everyone should be talking about them!” National Volunteer Month recognizes the contributions and impact of volunteers for one month every year. Doing Good builds on that and celebrates volunteers and nonprofits year-round.
Doing Good is celebrating online. Visit @DoingGoodTV on Facebook and Instagram to view and share the posts or highlight a volunteer in your community. All are invited to nominate a volunteer for Doing Good to feature in the Doing Good podcast, blog, and social media by visiting its website, DoingGood.tv.
National Volunteer Month acknowledges the many contributions of volunteers and encourages volunteerism while applauding those who help their communities. Doing Good focuses on the volunteers whose work leads to nonprofit success. During National Volunteer Month, Doing Good appreciates these volunteers creating lasting social impact throughout communities.
“These incredible people give their own time, talent, and resources to support their chosen agencies, impact lives, and change communities,” said Megan McInnis.
