Nashville, TN; May 20, 2026: In 2026, Rescue Revival is excited to share upcoming events dedicated to protecting rescue animals worldwide. This nonprofit collaborates with other organizations to save rescue animals from dangerous environments through advocacy and adoption programs.
Founder Kimmi Rasky says Rescue Revival’s mission is to “revitalize and redefine the rescue community.”
Once Rasky and her husband began fostering dogs in Pittsburgh, she learned all about the animal rescue process. She contacted a trainer and started an organization that funds rescue dog training. Eventually, Rasky moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and founded Rescue Revival.
Rasky joined the rescue community after adopting a rescue dog from Turkey, where many dogs are in shelters and need more care. Rescue Revival strives to prevent disease and aggressive behavior in animals in need of adoption through education, community resources, and volunteer work.
The nonprofit’s number one priority is to transform the rescue community. Rescue Revival plans to do this by preventing the number of stray dogs from increasing. Kimmi Rasky said, “I want to be able to create a whole new initiative that will help even companion animals get access to spay and neuter, because that’s the big thing. It’s cost and access.”
Rasky is passionate about giving back to the community. Under Rasky’s leadership, Rescue Revival partners with organizations to raise awareness with campaigns and training programs. The Gold for Good Campaign raises awareness for Golden Retrievers. A high-energy breed. Often, this level of energy is overwhelming for adoptive families and they end up returning the dog. The campaign’s goal is to train the rescue dogs to improve their chances of staying with their adoptive family.
To support Rescue Revival, please donate, take advantage of employer matching programs, share campaigns, or participate in community service. Nashville residents are encouraged to attend Rescue Revival’s upcoming “Dating for the Dogs” event, taking place this June at Tailgate Brewery.
