My role with Doing Good is to provide governance to our daily operations, while also developing leadership training for our volunteers. My strengths are in developing teams’ effectiveness by using process design, leadership development and continuous improvement. I want to help build a sustainable and long-lasting operation so that Doing Good can continue to spread our mission and expand our influence. I have spent my career working with various healthcare companies, from start-ups to more established organizations, primarily focused on revenue cycle operations. My work experience, along with my educational background in Organizational Leadership, has given me a passion about focusing on how efficient processes and strong leadership can propel teams to success. My family has called Nashville home for over 25 years. I have a core belief that organizations should focus on what they do well and utilize outside resources for non-core functions. I think this applies to both business and non-profit organizations. I wanted to work with a non-profit where I can impact a broad number of volunteer groups by working with a single organization. Doing Good fits this desire well because the goal of Doing Good is to enable the success of other non-profit groups…this aligns well with my outlook on how organizations can succeed.
