Kristen Walker is the Legal Director of Doing Good, where she provides legal guidance and supports the organization’s mission of celebrating individuals and organizations making a positive impact in their communities. She volunteers with Doing Good because she believes in the power of service, storytelling, and community. Kristen brings a unique combination of legal experience, problem-solving skills, and passion for advocacy to Doing Good. She is a business litigator at the law firm Spencer Fane LLP with over 10 years of experience working with businesses and organizations to resolve complex legal matters. As a native Memphian, she earned her law degree from the University of Memphis –Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Christian Brothers University. As a lifelong Tennessean, Kristen previously spent a number of years in state government as a regulatory attorney for the Department of Commerce and Insurance and an Assistant Attorney General for the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office.
